it would seem that supermarkets certainly are making a lot of money when it comes to the world cup, it is crazy to see just how much they can make. how are these companies making the money? Well before England got knocked out they were selling banners, noise makers, megaphones and all things England whilst now they are making thousands on beers and deals on various drinks. It makes sense that people drink during these events simply because they are a great time to sit and socialise with people. my next point does of course relate to drink.
Pubs
The pubs around Britain are making a fortune for the people that pour out of their serviced offices London to go and watch some of the biggest games out there. I think is great for pubs because they really needed something to start bringing the business back up again, the recession was hard on pubs it is good to see them bringing in the cash again! All the people from various offices like serviced offices Victoria and serviced offices Paddington will pay good money just to watch the games on the big screen and why on earth not.
Many companies have made money by doing world cup style competitions too so it doesn’t matter what sector of the market you are in, you can milk it!
