How To Avoid An Office Accident

Apart from home hazards it has to be said that office accidents have got to be the next on the list. Believe it or not there are so many offices out there that simply do not have enough safety checks in place and if someone was to fall or get injured they would be more than to blame for the cause of injury. So here is a list of just some of the things to look out for from the ergonomic office chairs to the electrical cables that could kill you in a flash.

Stupid Mistakes

These are often the cause of many injuries or even deaths in the office environment and they are down to people just being a bit stupid with where they leave things. I think that I have lost count of the times I have fallen over bags that have been left in the middle of the floor. Although they always seem to be out of the way in the morning, by the afternoon they are always in the middle of the floor. If you perhaps spill something on the floor you should always make an effort to clean it up, if you dont you will regret it if someone comes in and falls over.

Cables

If you are working in a office and you notice there are cables all over the place why dont you do something to change it. Fires and serious falls can be caused by cables which is why they are a big problem. If they are where people walk then get them moved either up high or below the floor. As well as this regular cable checks should be made to make sure there are no gaps in the wires, these could very easily cause fires.

So buy office chairs and make sure that your serviced office space is safe!
